The Necro Files is a 1997 shot-on-video blood fest that has been a high profile underground film on many collector's radars for 25 years, and it is finally brought to life for the first time ever with an awesome Visual Vengeance collector's edition bluray.This was my first time with a Visual Vengeance title and I have to say, I really appreciate what they are doing with their releases.

The Necro Files was one of the more notorious SOV films of its time, and with good reason. Writers Todd Tjersland (Faces of Gore, Necro Files 2) and Sammy Shapiro (Necro Files 3000) came up with a script that manages to include rape, murder, necrophilia, Satanists, a well-hung zombie and a flying demon baby.

Necro Files is a classic. Yes. A classic for the fans of no-budget gore-filthy movies. The plot speaks for itself: a serial rapist is killed then come back to life because of a "satanist cult" spell. But, he comes back to life as a zombie with a huge penis. He continues his rapist and killing rampage.
